James + Julie's Vintage Speakeasy Wedding in Grass Valley, CA
This one is for all my extra cool brides and grooms. James and Julie had a stunning fall wedding that even the rain couldn’t stop from being the perfect day. The big day was held at The Holbrooke Hotel which has been a historic piece of Grass Valley, California since 1852. This Victorian renovation is the perfect space for every aspect of your wedding, from getting ready to dancing the night away and heading to bed.
Lumiere Visual Arts and Smithhouse Films were ready to capture the most beautiful moments of the day. There were many in the historic Holbrooke Hotel.
James and Julie chose to go the untraditional route with having a first look on the beautiful Holbrooke porch. It was the sweetest moment.
William Paul Floral Design provided stunning arrangements for the day.They did an amazing job balancing the classic white and green bouquet with the deep burgundy accents that tie in the bridal party dresses.
The cocktail hour was one of the highlights of the evening with signature alcoholic cocktails and non-alcoholic mocktails and wonderful appetizers all the guests enjoyed.
James and Julie chose a simple 3 tiered cake baked by Emily’s Catering & Cake.
The couple and guests spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away with music provided by their DJ from Someone Said Yes.
We can’t forget the details of the day!
